What is UB-HCO?

San Diego State University Upward Bound-Health Careers Opportunity (UB-HCO) supports academic college readiness to low-income and first-generation high school students throughout the San Diego region. We provide access to transformative educational opportunities through our unique programs and services.

Our Partner Schools

We work with San Diego Unified School District, Grossmont Unfied School District, and Sweetwater Union High School District. We proudly serve nine schools to provide resources, support, guidance, and programs to help our students become adovcates for their academic success and pursue postsecondary education.

If you attend one of our partner schools and qualify as a low-income or first-generation student looking to take the next step in your education, we encourage you to explore what SDSU Upward Bound-HCO has to offer. Our team is here to help you every step of the way.

Cynthia Park, Ph.D.
