About Us

Student Support Services Teacher Prep (SSS TPrep) exists to strengthen and extend the College of Education’s ongoing work preparing future education professionals by increasing college retention and graduation rates of low-income and first-generation students. One primary function of SSS TPrep is to connect students to resources and services such as academic tutoring, advising, and counseling. We collaborate with colleagues across the university to create a cohesive educational experience for the students in our program. All of the program’s activities are designed to assist participants in our program in their pursuit of the bachelor’s degree and enrollment in graduate and professional programs, which includes academic, socioemotional, and financial planning supports.
