Upward Bound

Upward Bound exists to empower students with resources, skills, and support needed to accomplish their personal and academic goals.

What is Upward Bound?

San Diego State University Upward Bound (UB) is a federally funded TRIO program that supports academic college readiness to low-income and first-generation high school students throughout the San Diego region. We provide transformative educational opportunities through our unique programs and services.

We work with San Diego Unified School District, Grossmont Unified School District, and Sweetwater Union High School District.
